I really want to make it our team goal to come to these events focused and ready to play. Lately, our team has been showing up late to games, skipping practices, and has not been focused during playing time. That needs to change. I believe this team has championship level talent. We just lack championship level mentality. During these last three weeks of frisbee, I hope that everyone can understand what it takes to come to games on time and ready to play. As of right now, we are not going to achieve our goal of making State finals. If we want to improve, we need to make ourselves uncomfortable. We need to work on strengthening our weaknesses, which right now is simply mentality. If our focus matched our athletic ability, we will win both of these tournaments. Show me and the rest of Utah that you are elite frisbee players worthy of a championship run. Show up for your teammates to push them harder and make them better players. Prove that we are not just the most talented team, but also the most determined. Most importantly, just show up on time.
